Every amenity of Dahlia blooms in its own distinctive way.
In these spaces – from the light-filled Lobby to the Music Room to the Elevated Park off the adult and children’s Lounges – originality and creativity flourish, along with the strong sense of community that comes from lively interaction. Additional conveniences such as Bike Storage and a Pet Spa ensure for a sense of ease in daily life.
Grand. Minimal. Tactile.
Light-flooded and rich in materiality, the 24-hour attended Lobby is a stunning space with soaring 20’ ceilings.
The textural design story established on the building façade continues here with the use of grandly scaled panels, a monumental and organic art feature wall, and a sculptural pendant light fixture. The concierge desk, in metal and glass, is a work of art. Sliding glass doors create a serene separation between the street and the privacy of home.
On the second floor of Dahlia, the Lounge gives residents a venue for unwinding outside the home.
Warmed by beamed ceilings, this luminous space has floor-to-ceiling windows, comfortable banquette seating and built-in bookshelves for evening and weekend get-togethers with friends. Geared toward adults only, this haven offers a sense of privacy – even when kids and teens are right around the corner in their own play areas.
The children’s indoor and outdoor Playspace is an adventure of the mind.
Created to give younger children a place outside the home that is different from their norm, this “abstracted forest” features shifts in elevation that feel natural and adventurous. Retractable doors can be opened for larger events, allowing adults to keep an eye on the kids while giving them some independence.
Private Outdoor Park
Located off the adult Lounge and the children’s Playspace, the L-shaped, 5,100-square foot private outdoor Elevated Park is Dahlia’s most distinguishing amenity feature.
In the adult area, this landscaped oasis is filled with evergreen and deciduous plants and soft outdoor seating. Near the adult Lounge yet far enough away to feel private, the kids’ area features playground equipment for climbing and exploring, giving them their very own park at home.
New York City teens and tweens are stylish and savvy, which is why the Game Room was designed to be a place where older kids will actually want to hang.
Cool colors, geometric-patterned carpet and custom wallpaper are a backdrop for modular furniture, a ping-pong table and foosball. This is the ultimate clubhouse, a place to be with friends or alone and feel like an individual.
Building on the Upper West Side’s cultural legacy, the dedicated Music Room is a place where residents can practice, improvise or just have fun. It can be reserved for children’s lessons or by adults looking for their own musical release.
Colorful and creatively designed, the Fitness Center is bursting with energy.
A photographic mural wallcovering called “Bikers” (by Elliott Kaufman for Indiewalls) and bright red flooring get residents in the mood to exercise. The yoga room is the perfect place to unwind and re-center.
